Supply Chain Planner

In this role, you are an important link between commercial, logistics and carriers. Thanks to your overview, communication skills and decisiveness, transports run smoothly and everyone knows where they stand. In addition, you have the freedom to contribute ideas for improvements within the logistics processes.
What are you going to do?
As a Supply Chain Planner, you are responsible for optimal planning of all inbound and outbound goods flows. You work daily with a Transport Management System (TMS) and Warehouse Management System (WMS) and ensure that transports are scheduled and followed up efficiently.
Your tasks include, among others:
- Coordinating and planning inbound and outbound shipments;
- Coordinating with colleagues from logistics and commercial departments and external carriers;
- Monitoring available transport and warehouse capacity;
- Prioritising transports when the schedule requires it;
- Processing transport orders administratively in the TMS;
- Proactively following up on delayed or deviating shipments;
- Checking and processing transport invoices;
- Identifying opportunities for improvement and contributing ideas for more efficient work processes.
Who are we looking for?
You maintain an overview, think ahead and stay calm when the planning changes. You communicate easily with different departments and enjoy taking responsibility.
In addition, you have:
- MBO+ or HBO level of working and thinking;
- Experience in a logistics or supply chain role is a plus;
- Good communication skills;
- A proactive and independent work attitude;
- Affinity with logistics systems such as TMS and WMS is a plus;
- A solution-oriented mindset and an eye for process improvement.
