Job vacancy: Production Team Leader - Groningen (Full-time)

For a modern and growing production organisation in Groningen, we are looking for a Production Team Leader responsible for managing and guiding employees within the production process.
In this role, you will be the first point of contact on the production floor. You will ensure that daily tasks are allocated effectively, the production schedule is followed and quality is maintained.
You will work closely with the production manager and have the opportunity to contribute ideas for improving the production process.
What are you going to do?
As Production Team Leader, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the production team. Your duties will include:
- Coordinating and overseeing daily production activities.
- Managing, motivating and supporting production employees.
- Preparing and monitoring daily staffing and production schedules.
- Allocating tasks and monitoring the team's workload.
- Overseeing the efficient execution of the production process, including processing, weighing, labelling and packaging.
- Checking that employees follow the applicable work procedures and quality guidelines.
- Identifying and reporting technical problems, deviations and quality risks.
- Maintaining production records and assisting with the preparation of reports.
- Ensuring a clean, safe and organised working environment.
- Contributing ideas for improvements to work processes, quality and productivity.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a team leader who can maintain an overview, take responsibility and manage employees in a positive way.
- You have a working and thinking level equivalent to Dutch secondary vocational education (MBO), preferably in a technical or operational field.
- You have at least 2 years of experience in a production environment.
- Experience in managing employees is a strong advantage.
- You have a good command of Dutch, both spoken and written. English is an advantage.
- You can work with Microsoft Office and digital production systems.
- Knowledge of GMP, HACCP or similar quality standards is a bonus.
- Experience in a regulated production environment, such as the food industry, agriculture or the pharmaceutical sector, is a plus.
