Are you an experienced machine setter or operator in metalworking and looking for a technical role with responsibility and opportunities for advancement?
For a modern manufacturing company in Scheemda we are looking for a skilled tradesperson who enjoys working with production machines and gets energy from technology.
In this role you ensure that the production process runs optimally. Thanks to your technical knowledge and proactive attitude you quickly resolve malfunctions and fine-tune the machines to perfection.

What are you going to do?
As a machine setter / operator you are responsible for:
- Setting up and operating automatic and conventional production machines.
- Changing and adjusting machines during product changeovers.
- Detecting and resolving first-line faults.
- Carrying out quality checks according to specifications.
- Contributing to improvements in the production process.
- Collaborating with colleagues within production.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a technical professional who works independently, takes responsibility, and wishes to develop further within the technical field.
- A few years of experience in metalworking or the manufacturing industry
- Technical knowledge of machine settings and drawings
- Experience with lasers, bending machines, or presses is an asset
- Willingness to work in a 2- or 3-shift system
- Good command of Dutch or English
- Forklift or crane certification is an asset
- Practical attitude and a hands-on mentality
- Team player with a healthy sense of humor
