Vacancy: Transfer Crane Operator – Hoogezand
Do you enjoy working with heavy equipment and do you like a tough, industrial working environment? For our client in Hoogezand, we are looking for an experienced crane operator who can operate a transfer crane safely and accurately. You will be given a lot of responsibility, you will work with metals and scrap, and if you perform well, you will quickly have the prospect of a contract with the client.
What are you going to do?
As a crane operator, you ensure materials are handled safely and efficiently on site.
Your tasks include:
- Operating a transfer crane;
- Loading, unloading, and moving metals and scrap;
- Sorting and storing materials in the right place;
- Inspecting the crane and reporting malfunctions or defects;
- Maintaining a safe and tidy workplace;
- Working together with colleagues in the yard.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a practical and responsible crane operator who can work independently.
In addition:
- You have experience with a transfer crane, mobile crane, or a similar machine;
- You work safely, accurately, and carefully;
- You have technical insight;
- You are physically fit and enjoy working outdoors;
- You are available full-time;
- A valid crane certificate is an advantage.
