Vacancy Caretaker - Winschoten | 20-24 hours
Are you hospitable, practical and someone who sees what needs to be done? Do you enjoy working in a place where every day can be different? We are looking for a facilities assistant/caretaker for the culture house in Winschoten for 20 to 24 hours per week.
The culture house is much more than just a theatre. The modern building includes a library, arts centre, theatre café and cinema, among other things. As a caretaker, you will come into contact with all kinds of people and tasks. From welcoming visitors to carrying out minor tasks in and around the building: you ensure that everything remains tidy, accessible and welcoming.
What are you going to do?
You are one of the familiar faces in the culture house and are regularly the first point of contact for visitors. You maintain an overview, enjoy rolling up your sleeves and help wherever needed.
Your duties include:
- Welcoming and assisting visitors;
- Ensuring that the building is accessible, tidy and presentable;
- Carrying out and identifying maintenance work;
- Resolving or reporting practical and technical issues;
- Supporting facilities-related tasks within the building;
- Helping with hospitality-related tasks where necessary;
- Working with your colleagues to ensure that everything in and around the culture house runs smoothly.
In short: a varied role where hospitality and practical work come together.

An affinity with theatre, culture or events is an advantage, but not a requirement.
