Job Vacancy: Groundworker Northern Netherlands
This family business has nearly a century of experience in engineering and infrastructure, with a focus on cables, pipelines and technical installations. It combines traditional craftsmanship with modern and sustainable techniques and develops many solutions and equipment in-house. With a team of approximately 180 employees, it works on the infrastructure and energy supply systems of the future.
What are you going to do?
Do you like getting stuck in and enjoy working outdoors? You start the day with your team and a good cup of coffee, helping to install cables and pipelines for electricity and water in Northern Netherlands. It is a varied role where you work outdoors and contribute to reliable infrastructure together with your colleagues.
Your duties include:
- Digging trenches and locating the correct cables
- Assisting the excavator operator with the work
- Ensuring that electricity, gas and water pipelines are safely installed underground
- Working with a regular team on great projects
Who are we looking for?
- You enjoy working outdoors and are not put off by a little rain
- You work carefully, as you do not want to cause a power outage
- You have a category B driving licence and your own transport
- You are a pleasant colleague to work with
- Experience is a plus, but the right attitude is more important
- You have a VCA Basic certificate or are willing to obtain one

- A gross salary of €18.95 per hour
- The prospect of a permanent contract if both parties are satisfied

- Travel allowance of €0.32 per km
