Vacancy Logistics Administrative Assistant
For a project in Eemshaven we are looking for two precise employees who are responsible for the registration and inspection of trucks on-site. In this role you ensure that all documentation is correct and that the logistical process runs smoothly. It is a dynamic work environment where a truck arrives every few minutes.
The start date is not yet known exactly, but as soon as the project starts there must be quick action and you can start within one week. The expected duration of the project is 4 to 6 months.
What are you going to do?
In this role you are responsible for a smooth progression of truck registration on site. You ensure that all administration is correct and that drivers are helped quickly and accurately. Because, on average, a truck arrives every 3 to 5 minutes, it is important that you stay organized and work in a structured manner.
- Registering incoming and outgoing trucks in the system
- Checking transport and waybills
- Administrative processing of logistics data (document control)
- Assisting drivers with questions and guiding them
- Communicating in Dutch and English
- Identifying deviations and reporting them to the responsible person
- Ensuring an efficient and safe flow of the transport process
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who works accurately, is communicative, and can function well in an environment with a fast pace. You remain calm under pressure and can switch quickly when needed.
- You work accurately and have a strong sense of responsibility.
- You are administratively skilled and can work well with systems.
- You can handle a high work tempo and peak periods well.
- You are communicative and customer-focused.
- You master Dutch and English in speaking and writing.
- You possess a valid VCA certificate.
- You have your own transport to come to the location.
- You are flexibly available and available for both shifts.
- Experience in logistics or administration is a plus.

You will be working in a professional project within a logistics environment where structure and collaboration are important. It concerns a temporary project, but with guaranteed hours during its duration.
- A temporary project of approximately 4 to 6 months
- Full-time position (Monday to Friday)
- Working in a clear 2-shift schedule:
- 06:00 – 12:30
- 12:30 – 19:00 (possible until the last truck has departed) - A dynamic working environment within a logistics project
- An independent role with responsibility
