Vacancy: industrial painter
For a client in Hoogezand, we are looking for a structural painter. In this position you will be working on the preservation of bridges and the railway on various locations in the province of Groningen and the eastern part of the Netherlands. It concerns a full-time role in which you work together with a team to protect and maintain steel constructions.
You will work at varying locations and it may happen that you temporarily stay overnight on site. Of course, this is all arranged and reimbursed. Do you have experience with industrial painting and do you enjoy working outdoors on large projects? Then this is a great opportunity.
What are you going to do?
As a construction painter, you will be responsible for the conservation of bridges and other steel structures. Your tasks include, among others:
- Preparing steel structures
- Degreasing and cleaning steel
- Applying coatings and two-component paint
- Painting and preserving bridges
- Working according to safety regulations
- Collaborating with colleagues on project sites
You will mainly work on site in Groningen and the eastern part of the Netherlands.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a motivated tradesperson who enjoys working outdoors and regards safety as important.
- In possession of VCA
- Experience with 2-component paint
- Experience with surface preparation and rust removal of steel
- Driver's license B
- An eye for safety
- Proactive work attitude
Experience as a construction or industrial painter is a plus
