For a leading company in the maritime sector, we are looking for an Working Foreman with a passion for technology and ship maintenance. This company specializes in cleaning, preserving, and painting various ships and works daily to protect and embellish ships that go to sea in top condition.

What are you going to do?
As a Working Foreman (Meewerkend Voorman), you are the linchpin on the shop floor. You ensure the team knows what needs to be done and that the work is carried out according to plan, safely, and with high quality.
Your duties include, among others:
- Allocating and coordinating tasks within the team
- Monitoring planning, progress, and quality of the projects
- Actively contributing to cleaning, preserving, and painting ships
- Supervising safe working practices and the correct use of tools and machines
- Serving as the point of contact for colleagues, foremen, and subcontractors
- Proactively informing the Operational Manager about progress and any bottlenecks
- Motivating and guiding the team so that everyone achieves their best

In addition, you bring the following:
- MBO level of work and thinking
- Experience with preservation, classification, or a similar function is an advantage
- Affinity with the maritime industry
- You naturally lead and are a true team player
- Safe working is always your number one priority
- You can switch gears and maintain an overview, even when it’s busy
- You communicate clearly and know how to motivate colleagues with your enthusiasm
- You have a good command of the Dutch language
- You can manage in English (German is an advantage)

- A salary between €3,500 and €4,500 gross per month, depending on experience
