Technical Service Technician – Winschoten

For our client, one of the largest glulam producers in Europe, we are looking for a Technical Service Technician. Due to an expansion of the team and investments in the machinery, there is room for a new colleague who enjoys working with their hands, thinks along, and ensures the production process continues to run smoothly.
What are you going to do?
As a Technical Service Technician, you are responsible for the maintenance and repair of the entire machinery fleet. You ensure that malfunctions are resolved quickly and that the machines continue to operate optimally.
Your tasks include:
- Carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance on machines and installations;
- Identifying and resolving mechanical and electrical faults;
- Performing repairs on production machines;
- Maintaining pneumatic, mechanical and electronic systems;
- Thinking along about improvements to installations and processes;
- Contributing to a safe and efficient production environment.
You will work in a 2-shift system within a technically challenging production environment where there is strong investment in modernisation and development.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an enthusiastic and technically skilled colleague who likes to take responsibility and can work independently.
In addition, you recognise yourself in the following:
- You have completed an MBO vocational education in a technical field;
- Work experience within a production environment is a plus;
- You have an affinity with mechanics and electrical engineering;
- You have knowledge of automation, pneumatics and technical installations, or you are willing to learn this quickly;
- You are solution-oriented, independent and accurate;
- You are willing to work in a 2-shift system.
