Our client is a leading company in the cardboard and paper industry, based in Hoogezand and Sappemeer. Here, more than 275,000 tons of cardboard are produced annually, primarily from recycled paper. This cardboard finds its way to more than 80 countries and is used, among other things, for hardcover books, puzzles, board games, and luxury packaging.

What are you going to do?
In this role you play a key part in maintaining an efficient production process. You intervene quickly when deviations occur and actively contribute ideas for improvements. In addition, you perform first-line maintenance on machines and ensure that production and quality data are kept up to date. You ensure a clear handover of information to colleagues and other stakeholders, and you assist with transport activities using internal material handling equipment.
What makes this position particularly interesting is the two-year traineeship in which you are trained to become an Operator C both in theory and in practice. You will work in a 5-shift system and have the opportunity to develop your professional expertise within a stable organization with a future-oriented vision.
Job requirements:
- You hold at least an MBO level 4 diploma in a technical field;
- You possess a valid BHV and VCA VOL diploma or are willing to obtain them;
- You have knowledge of occupational safety, environmental, ISO, and other corporate and safety regulations;
- Experience with paper or cardboard processes is a plus;
- Knowledge of energy technology is a plus.

What do we offer you?

- It concerns a full-time contract with a salary ranging from €3,000 to €3,450 gross per month (excluding 27.5% shift allowance, holiday allowance, and a year-end bonus), depending on your experience.
