Vacancy: Operator
Are you looking for a position as an operator? Do you already have experience, or would you like to learn this profession from scratch? Then this job at a growing and professional grass seed company in Bunde (just over the border near Nieuweschans) might be exactly what you’re seeking. In this role, you will work together with a small, close-knit team to ensure that top-quality grass seed is produced and delivered every day. You will be operating a machine where various types of seeds are mixed, packaged, labeled, and pelletized.
What are you going to do?
- You confer with the internal sales/production planning department about the production schedule.
- You use the forklift to gather the correct mixtures to assemble the desired product.
- You fill the machine with the correct ingredients.
- You monitor the process and intervene in case of any faults or disruptions.
- You place the finished product in storage or prepare it for shipment.
- Additionally, you assist with order picking or receiving goods where needed.
Who are we looking for?
- You live in the Bunde region or just over the border in the Netherlands (within a 25 km radius).
- You have a forklift certificate or are willing to obtain one.
- You are physically capable of performing the work.
- You speak sufficient Dutch and German.
- You are available 32 to 40 hours per week (to be discussed).
- You are precise, independent, and able to maintain an overview with ease.
