Vacancy: Building Supervisor (Caretaker)
Are you someone who enjoys working outdoors and isn’t afraid of large machines, trucks, and cranes? Do you like working together with a tight-knit team? Then this position is for you! At our client’s site, you’ll work daily in the open air and, together with your colleagues, ensure a perfectly executed drilling operation. You’ll have ample room to develop yourself, and you can also earn a good income in the process.
What are you going to do?
I start at 06:00 on site, discuss the job with your team, and drink a cup of coffee. At 06:30 you head out to the bore location. There you direct the team so that all materials are prepared correctly. You review the bore plan and the KLIC notification, after which cables and pipes are laid out and freed.
Then you step into the machine and begin boring. Together with the assistant foreman, you monitor the entire process. As soon as the drill head surfaces, the tubes are secured and pulled in. You keep an eye on the bentonite mix and ensure the tunnel remains stable, while your team replenishes the supplies.
Is the boring finished? Then you supervise the cleanup and sealing of the site. You are back on site between 15:00 and 18:00. If it’s after 18:00, you end the day pleasantly at your favorite doner shop.
