Vacancy: Asbestos Saniation Specialist

Our client is active in circular (renovation and total) demolition, asbestos and soil remediation, and emergency response. It involves building constructions and industry. They strive for new innovations and aim to reduce physical strain by using small equipment such as demolition robots and electric shovel/scraper loaders. The team consists of more than 25 enthusiastic employees and mainly works in the three northern provinces.
What are you going to do?
As an asbestos abatement worker, you are responsible for the safe and expert removal of asbestos at various locations. Your daily tasks include, among others:
- Blocking off and preparing work areas.
- Removing and disposing of asbestos-containing materials in accordance with legal guidelines.
- Working with personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
Who are we looking for?
- Do you possess a DTA or DAV certificate.
- Do you have a valid VCA diploma (or are you willing to obtain one).
- Willingness to follow additional courses and/or training.
- You work accurately and place safety high on your priority.
- Residing within 35 kilometers of the Scheemda location.
