For our client in the Hoogezand area, we are looking for boys who want to learn the painting trade. As an apprentice concrete painter, you will carry out various painting tasks on site under supervision. Our client is a well-established name when it comes to industrial blasting and coating work. The company was founded to treat above-ground gas-well lines and has since developed into an all-round specialist in blasting, coating, painting, and cleaning of a wide range of objects across different industries. The client works for renowned clients in sectors such as trailer construction, shipping, and road and water construction.

What are you going to do?
You will have the opportunity to learn the trade from experienced colleagues while gaining work experience at the same time. Based on the given assignment and instructions, you and your supervisor will prepare painting work. Together you determine the method, technique, and materials, and you check whether all conditions are met to perform the work (safely).
In the beginning, your tasks will mainly consist of preparing materials that need to be sprayed or painted. Your job is to remove rust from the material and prepare it as thoroughly as possible for the next step in the painting process. You will learn how to treat different materials and how to achieve the best results.
