Vacancy: General worker for drilling operations
Are you someone who enjoys working outdoors, loves big machines, and enjoys pushing hard in a team environment? Then we have a great challenge for you. You will work together with a close-knit team on various drilling projects, experience lots of variety, and have good earning potential.
What are you going to do?
I start at 06:00 on site with a cup of coffee and a brief daily meeting. At 06:30 you set off with your team to the drilling location. Between 07:00 and 07:30 you arrive and begin assembling the machines and materials.
Afterwards you work through the full drilling process using the drilling design and the KLIC notification. You dig in the entry and exit points and expose the cables. While drilling you keep a close eye on the bentonite mixture and replenish it as needed. In addition, you provide hand and spade assistance to the (assistant) drilling master.
Depending on the length of the job, you are sometimes finished around 15:00, but it can also happen that you work until 18:00 or later. If that is the case, you end the day on a pleasant note by sharing a meal with your team.
Who are we looking for?
- You are handy and enjoy practical work
- You have a B driving license (BE is a plus)
- You have a VCA-VOL or are willing to obtain it within three months
- You don’t mind working overtime
