Vacancy: Truck Driver for Beet Campaign
Do you want to be out all day with a big load of beets on the go? Then you’ve come to the right place. For the annual beet campaign, we are seeking, on behalf of an experienced transport company, tough drivers who want to go all out in the Hogeland of Groningen. This is your chance to embark on a unique adventure and earn well!
What are you going to do?
During the beet campaign, you are the link between the country and the factory. Your workday or night looks roughly like this:
- You drive back and forth from the loading site in the fields to the factory
- You make multiple trips per shift (and sometimes there are little country road gems nestled in there, with sunrises and sunsets)
- You swivel, turn, and maneuver like a pro at the crane on the field
- You work shifts of about 12 hours, with the number of days per week to be discussed
- Prefer daytime driving or would you rather drive at night? No problem at all, we’re happy to think along with you.
Who are we looking for?
- Possessing a CE driving license
- A valid Code 95 qualification
- Punctual and meticulous; being overburdened is not an option
- No trouble with a bit of mud, an extra turn, or an early or late shift
- Experience is advantageous but not required. We’re happy to give you the chance to learn the tricks of the sugar beet trade!
