Vacancy: Field Service Technician
Are you a handy technician who loves tinkering and enjoys being on the road? For our client in Farmsum, we are looking for a field service engineer who performs preventive maintenance, resolves faults, and carries out repairs on electrical- and diesel-powered equipment at customer sites in the North of the Netherlands. In this varied role, you will visit different customer locations in Groningen every day, and occasionally in Friesland and Drenthe as well. You will work with both electrical engineering and diesel technology, allowing you to develop broadly. Moreover, you’ll have ample room to grow: from junior field service technician to experienced specialist.
What are you going to do?
- Performing preventive maintenance and repairs.
- Detecting and resolving malfunctions in machines and installations.
- Communicating with customers in a professional and representative manner.
- From Farmsum, daily out on the road in Groningen, Friesland, and Drenthe.
- After a thorough onboarding period, working independently with a lot of freedom and responsibility.
Who are we looking for?
- You have electrical engineering knowledge and want to learn diesel technology, or you are a diesel mechanic with basic electrical knowledge.
- You are technically skilled, learn quickly, and can work well independently.
- You are well-presented, customer-oriented, and comfortable with a degree of freedom.
- Work experience or education in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or automotive technology is a plus, but motivation and work ethic are more important to us.
- You enjoy tinkering, even as a hobby.

- A gross salary between €3,000 (junior) and €4,000 (senior) per month.
