Vacancy: Groundworker Noord-Nederland
Our client is an experienced family business that has been active in engineering and infrastructure for almost 100 years. With around 180 employees, the company works on the installation and maintenance of cables, pipes and technical systems.

What are you going to do?
As a groundworker, you will work with your colleagues on various projects in Noord-Nederland. You start the day with a good cup of coffee before heading out with your team. Together, you make sure that cables and pipes for utilities such as electricity, gas and water are installed safely.
You will work closely with an excavator operator and make sure the work is carried out properly and safely. No two days are the same, and you get to enjoy working outdoors.
Your duties include:
- Digging and backfilling trenches for cables and pipes
- Locating and exposing existing cables and pipes
- Assisting the excavator operator with excavation work
- Helping to safely install electricity cables, gas pipes and water pipes
- Working with a regular team on various projects
Who are we looking for?
You are a real go-getter who enjoys working outdoors. A little rain does not stop you, and you enjoy getting the job done together with your colleagues.
You also:
- Have a category B driving licence and your own transport
- Work accurately and pay attention to safety
- Are a reliable colleague who enjoys teamwork
- Have a VCA-Basis certificate or are willing to obtain one
Experience as a groundworker is a bonus, but certainly not a requirement. The right attitude and motivation will take you a long way!
