CV Tips

At BUZ, we see resumes every day. That’s why we’ve put together a few tips to help you elevate your resume to the next level.

1. Check for spelling mistakes.

We often come across a résumé with typos, so be sure to proofread for spelling before you send it. Not great at spelling? Have family or friends take another look!

2. Write a short paragraph about yourself.

Tell a little about who you are as a person, where you come from, or what your hobbies are.

3. Relevant work history

Work you did for only a week doesn’t need to be included. Experience in a somewhat similar field can still count as relevant history.

4. Make sure your résumé is up to date!

It’s important that your most recent work experience and/or education is also listed. Don’t forget to add these!

All points covered? Great! Show it to us via an open application. And who knows, you might have a new job in no time!
